Things are really heating up on the Golan Heights, between Syria and Israel. On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, mortars fired from Syria landed in Israeli territory. Israel’s response was immediate and effective. However, many are beginning to wonder if we are entering a new phase of the Syrian conflict; a phase where Iranian proxies fighting in Syria turn their focus on Israel.
