Strong families are what build a strong nation. Where is the moral decline in the Western family leading?

The success of any nation is determined by the success of its family life. In his first inaugural address on April 30, 1789, President George Washington emphatically stated that “the foundations of our national policy will be laid in the pure and immutable principles of private morality.” This has everything to do with the family structure, and the same holds true today. Moreover, cofounding father John Adams stated more specifically: “The foundation of national morality must be laid in private families.” When the family breaks down, so will the nation.

Physical family is only a type of something much greater. When we degrade the meaning of family in society, we are degrading much more than just a common moral standard. On this episode of the Trumpet Daily, we examine the rapid breakdown of family life in Western society and why family is of paramount importance.
