The Islamic State Distraction | The Trumpet Daily

Iran was always the greater threat, and in the wake of the Islamic State’s defeat it is emerging stronger than ever.
Over the past three years, the so-called Islamic State has made headlines for its gruesome videos of beheadings and mass murders, and for its terrorist attacks in Europe and the United States. Many Western officials and commentators even labeled the Islamic State “the new face of radical Islam.” We disagreed with that assessment. Philadelphia Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry, in an October 2014 Key of David program, said: The Islamic State “is a distraction from the real danger in the Middle East and in the world.” The real danger, he said, is Iran. How accurate this forecast turned out to be! Now that the American-led campaign against the Islamic State is almost over, it is the Islamic Republic of Iran—not the United States—that has emerged as the real victor in the Middle East. On today’s program, we examine the real threat in the Middle East and how it threatens the entire world. Visit https://www.theTrumpet.com/
