There is the perception that Catholicism in Europe is passé. Record-low church attendance is just one sign of Europe’s shift toward progressivism and secularism. But the recent nomination in France of François Fillon, a staunch Catholic, shows Catholicism in Europe is not dead. In fact, as guest host Brad Macdonald explains on today’s program, Europe may be about to experience a Catholic renaissance.
