The Bible teaches that God’s plan of salvation involves all of humanity who has ever lived. The traditional Christian world teaches that there are two classes of people: those who are saved and those who are lost. Many believe that God is desperately trying to save the world now while the devil is feverishly trying to keep as many as he can “lost” forever. If this assumption is true, God is clearly losing this titanic battle! Think of the billions who have lived and died without even hearing the name of Jesus Christ! Think of the billions on Earth today who are definitely not traditional Christians! The teaching that a person is either saved or lost comes from the assumption that this is the “only day of salvation” and that this time is just about over. That assumption, as we will see on today’s program, is absolutely false! God has an epic plan of redemption in store for humanity, and He has had it planned out for millennia.
