In his speech at the Toner Prize Ceremony this week, United States President Barack Obama said the media was failing to dig deep into the stories during this presidential campaign season. He said that during his campaign back in 2008, the media asked “tough questions” to see if his actions would match his words. Looking back at President Obama’s comments in 2008, it’s clear he didn’t follow through on his promises, and most of all, the media had a big part to play in propping him up. On today’s program, Stephen Flurry explains how the biased media is affecting the U.S. and how it helped President Obama get into office.
Also on this show, Canada experiments with a new program that will guarantee people a minimum income even if they’re not working. What does the Bible have to say about hard work and earning an income?
