Your Time is Your Life! - The Trumpet Daily

Benjamin Franklin once asked, “Do you love life? Then do not squander time, for that’s the stuff life is made out of.” Franklin said he worked all his life to organize his time, and he never fully succeeded at mastering time management. It’s not easy organizing your time—particularly if you’re a true Christian hard at work trying to organize your life God’s way.

Our time is precious, and we must use it God’s way. We are surrounded with all kinds of material things to help us enjoy life. Though these things may not be wrong of and by themselves, it is too easy to allow them to take time away from the things we should be doing. We only have a certain amount of time on this Earth. If we waste it, then we are wasting our lives.

God promises to help us in our pursuit of time management. Moses prayed in the Psalms, “Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are; help us to spend them as we should.” With God’s guidance, we can make the most of our precious, God-given time.
