For nearly 20 years, the Trumpet has predicted that Iraq would eventually come under Iranian control. In the recent fight against the Islamic State, the United States has engaged in a limited way in the form of air strikes, while Iran has dominated the ground below. America’s involvement has served as a cover and, in many ways, even cleared a path for Iran to go in and take over Iraq.
