Ignited by the election of Donald Trump, Europe’s leaders are quickly moving to develop a European military in place of the American defense umbrella. At the end of World War II, it was the aim of Britain and America to keep Germany and Europe from ever rising again militarily. Ironically, in Mr. Trump’s attempt to make America great again, he is actually making Europe great again.
